Ringer Revival . . .2010
Update May 2009 - Jan 2010 o be continued ASAP
A smart adult Rook caught today at our Orchard site in Suffolk (a ringing tick for Phil) along with several Blackbirds & Fieldfare. All were trapped using a Whoosh net & baited with apples . . . . .fantastic!
This blog site is dedicated to bird ringing & is run by keen UK bird ringers - Rebecca Nason & Phil Harris. We hope you enjoy looking through the many images & insights into various ringing features we will provide during our regular (!?) ringing updates. Please do feel free to contact us with any question :-) Happy Ringing!
We have been ringing for the last few years and now hold BTO 'C' (Becca) & 'A' (Phil) permits and Pullus licenses after training with the Wicken Fen Ringing Group and at Fair Isle Bird Observatory. This blog will cover some of our ringing activities at various ringing sites in the UK. Our main ringing locations are 2 sites near Woodbridge, Suffolk, a site in Little Abington, Cambridgeshire & Fair Isle, Shetland. We also ring at two sewage works in the Woodbridge area.
